One of the keys behind peace of mind is having people you can count on serving as Directors on the Trust Board. Directors are elected by the membership and due to their steady stewardship of the Trust, have seen little change over the past ten years. Clyde R. Dangerfield, JD

Clyde R. Dangerfield has been the Assistant Superintendent for Gilbert Unified School District No. 41 for the past ten years. Clyde received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Utah and law degree from the University of Arizona. He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and also teaches a “School Law” and "School Finance" class for NAU.

James D. Lockwood, CPA, Ed.D.

James D. Lockwood has been the Associate Superintendent for Apache Junction Unified School District No. 43 for the past seventeen years. Jim received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Arizona State University, his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Western Michigan University, his Masters of Science degree in Education from Northern Arizona University and his Doctorate in Educational Administration from NOVA University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

W. Michael Aylstock has been the Superintendent at Blue Ridge Unified School District No. 32 for the past eight years and a Superintendent in Arizona for sixteen years. Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Chemistry from Ball State University in 1976 and his Masters of Arts degree in Secondary Education from Ball State University in 1982.

D. Scott Little is currently the Chief Financial Officer for the Amphitheater Public Schools. Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and his Masters of Business Administration degree from Louisiana State University. He is also a member of the Arizona Department of Education's School Finance Advisory Committee.

Joel H. Wirth has been the Associate Superintendent for Business Services at Chandler Unified School District No. 80 for the past twenty-two years. Joel received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Arizona State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Kathy Ballard, M.Ed.

Kathy Ballard is currently the District Mentor Teacher for the Douglas Unified School District. Kathy received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of Arizona and her Masters of Arts in Education from Northern Arizona University. Kathy is also an adjunct professor for the University of Phoenix Distance Learning program and teaches Human Resource Management and Women In Leadership courses.
